Great trip report so far. I love trip reports like this that accurately reflect the adventure you and your family are having. No effort is made to conceal or make excuses for mechanical breakdowns, no turning around to pose the rig in the most flattering backdrop and no attempt to overstate...
Yes Aaron, that spelled it out perfectly. You have my sincerest apologies for not reading your thread closely enough. Please relax now and get back to researching cooler purchases. I'm sorry for soiling up your thread with a misimpression response. I will gladly delete if you wish.
Count me as one of those confused. I thought you were shopping for a Soopa Coola. Lots of options in the $65 cooler market. Good luck, keep us posted on choice and impressions.

Completely agree with everyone's comments above. The Zero is a novelty concept at best and doesn't provide the practicality I look for in a bike. All that said, this technology cannot advance to the point where practicality is reached unless someone takes the first bold leap and builds it...
Cool thread. I just spent this past weekend sleeping on my REI 3.5 Camp Bed Medium and slept like a baby. It fits inside my USGI gortex bivy and becomes my go to sleep system on a cot or on the ground, the results are great.
Don't be surprised, it happens every time the word "Earthroamer" appears in the thread title on this forum. It is very predictable, as are the responses. It seems even casual mention of Earthroamer is an attack on them and their product and that anyone who doesn't own an ER is envious. It's...
