1976 Chevrolet Blazer K5 with Factory Camper

PM sent. This one is sold, but Chalet nut that I am, I do almost daily internet searches for these, and have a running list of 20 others for sale around the country. As ever, I don't receive a dime for promoting any of 'em, I just want them to go to good homes instead of being chopped up for...

Motorcycle expedition with a sad ending.

In a "roundaboutly similar" way, this is why I put a photo composite of the World Trade Center twin towers / US flag in the rear window of my car. I hope to pass on perhaps just a subliminal idea that life and/or its nice conveniences can be fleeting when you least expect it. Maybe at least one...

    Mac image question?

......wait... I can answer my own question, the portion of the screen I want to capture can be selected in the Grab, saved to my desktop, opened in Preview, and exported as a JPEG back to the desktop. That chops two 'hoops' out of what I was doing before, the conversion from PDF to JPEG, and...

    Mac image question?

Ya learn something everyday... they're TIFF files, though. Probably doesn't make any difference for little screen captures, but I still have to drop them into CorelDRAW to convert them to JPEGs since TIFFs aren't usable to plop them into these posts.....?

    Mac image question?

Uh oh. I must have an antique version of Preview, as seen in the pic below. What I've done for the longest time is hit the command key-shift key-4 key and marquee just the area of the screen I wanted instead of a full screen capture. But that generates a PDF pic which I have to open in Preview...

    Random dog shots

2x2 & 4x4 camping at its most basic level... scanned from my photo taken early summer 1982 at the summit of Hoosier Pass, Colorado. My parents and I were headed in the opposite direction in a big Dodge and nicely outfitted 5th wheel.

    Wanted-Astro Tiger LX motor home

Great, nothing beats having an extensive network. l've bookmarked the astrosafarivans.org forums, thanks. Much as I like my Chalet, my ultimate goal is to have the perfect offroad camper to suit my tastes, and perhaps an Astro 4x4 with a Westfalia-inspired custom roof is a way to go to...

    Blazer Chalet

Done! ....., but not quite, I'll add more as we-all find more. Quit my last job, starting a new business in a couple of months, but in the meantime I had time to put together the "mother of all spreadsheets" for every Blazer Chalet & Casa Grande I could dredge up, with photos to ID 'em or...

There's an MSN Group for those http://groups.msn.com/TigerMotorhomeOwners/stuffforsale.msnw if you don't find what you're looking for in their classifieds (usually in good condition, on the pricey side), probably one of the goup members could steer you toward one they know of that needs TLC...
