    i'll be keeping the wheels, i probably will need to get some spacers though. i'm planning on some 31x10.5x15 tires. probably some mud terrains from treadwright. i'll probably just lift it a few inches then add some nice shocks.

    Fixed the steering column. Tearing out AC vents! Nice clean interior. I need some speakers to fill the holes! Window is broken. I have a replacement. I found a rock in the back seat. Isn't that a clean minty seat?!

    for the rest of the day i have planned go back to work for awhile, replace the broken window in the back driverside door reinstall all door handles and door openers. figure how the steering column goes back together.:coffee:

    resurrected from the graveyard:victory::smileeek: the only rust i found is in the rear fenders. i think i'll just cut it out so larger tires will fit with ease. I'm looking at swapping a nissan Turbo diesel into it. there is a 6 cylinder 3.3L out there. i just need a tranny and t-case

    Just brought TANK home today. specs: 1978 Jeep Wagoneer D44's Front and Rear 72K miles 401 V8 (6.6L) TH400 BW1339 Minty interior Just going to get it up and running first. unfortunately the hood won't open. some pictures. its now sitting in the garage all nice and warm.

    drove home from Montana tonight (100+ miles) with the fog lights on. The wires were cool to the touch. Outside Temp was 32 degrees.:elkgrin: according to the temp gauge in my Commander.
