Well after hitting a deer a few months ago i finally replaced the fog light bulbs. the deer hit my bumper hard enough to damage the bulb and it also removed some paint in the process on my bumper. the deer was killed. sorry deer.;)

i called treadwright about the tires they are selling.
they said they are speed rated to 95 mph. :victory:
looks like i'll be getting a set of these for the commander in the guard dogs.
i've had some on my commander for 2 years without a problem.
torque them properly and you won't have any problems. mine are hubcentric, 1.5" spacers from trailsport.
i think most problems come from people who are idiots and cannot install parts correctly.
a 1" grade 5 bolt has a clamp load rating of 38616 lbs.:Wow1:

i think it'll work well with my 300 lbs back there.

i hit one with my commander about a month ago. it died pretty fast. But i was a little pissed because it scraped the paint off my freshly painted bumper, it also somehow broke the headlight mount even though it didn't touch it. oh well.
you can see the hair hanging out from the...
finally put my pintle hitch together today. it was mostly finished for the last month. i just did a little grinding to the mounting plate for the pintle. it is hooked into the receiver hitch so its removable should i need to actually tow a trailer. i'm mostly using it for recovery purposes.
cool video.
i just finished building my receiver mount for the pintle hitch. i just need to go test it out. looks nice and beefy back there. i had to build a receiver mount because my tire carrier would hit a normal receiver mount. i just had to drop it down about 1/4".
i just need some...
What are your opinions for using a Pintle Hitch for recovery. The one i have is rated for 15 tons.
just curious, i have recovery points up front but nothing out back except a hitch mount.
