    Schutt Industries - Xventure Owners

I can't imagine it would be much wear on it, it would be completely different if it was actually pumping water the whole time.

    Schutt Industries - Xventure Owners

I always remember to turn the pump off, because every now and again I hear the pump cycle for less than 30 seconds when I've left it on. So it will draw some power. So it all depends on your need for electricity and what you have for battery capacity. The only way to know for sure is do a few...

    Colorado Parts and Assessories sites

That is correct, what you want is probably out there for your Colorado but you'll need to research where to go based on what you are looking for. Try out ZR2zone.com and coloradofans.com to ask specific questions on specific parts for the Colorado, below is a list of shops/places I've shopped at...

ZR2 w Diamondback HD - looking for thoughts on Yakima Skyline w RTT

Do you really want to be crawling into the bed under the tonneau cover to get stuff out of it? If you go with that setup, I would suggest considering getting a bed slide or put everything you need in the backseat area and do a rear seat delete. I get the idea of having the tent lower, just need...

    Sat phones?

I have had a Garmin inreach explorer+ for a few years and can never get it updated and just get the same response from Garmin over and over. I started researching sat phones and the biggest issue I see with them is that people that try to call your phone have to pay ridiculous fees per minute...

Pocket Media Group buys Gaia GPS

Buried in the release of Pocket Outdoor Media acquiring Outside Media and will be using that as their name, it mentioned that the conglomerate also purchased Gaia GPS. Pocket Outdoor Media may be just 4 years old, but already the conglomerate has gobbled up some of the most influential titles...

    All-in-One House Battery Charging

If you want to include electric distribution into the fold Redarc's RedVision Vehicle Management System includes the BMS Manager 30. Otherwise Redarc's BMS Manager 30 does everything you are asking.

    Leitner Design Racks

When you are referring to "secure" do you mean security? or do mean keeping stuff from flying out of the bed? I have a Leitner ACS Classic with a Decked drawer system and I have never had an issue with stuff leaving the bed on highways and off-road. The most I use to secure stuff in the back...

JL Rubicon Unlimited - Austin TX

The owner and his rig has gone camping/overlanding with me and folks from the Austin area. I can tell you it's a very clean Jeep and very well cared for and very capable.

    270 Awning FREE STANDING!

From my research, none of the freestanding awnings can handle high winds/gusts, they all suggest using the optional legs and guide rope tie downs for heavily windy conditions. Here's what happened to an Alu-Cab with a strong gust while camping on the Texas coast: On a side note, OK4wd...

    Rotopax Gen2

The twisting bottom allows you to interlock two rotopax together and expands your mounting options rather than just "stacking", which is all that gen 2 allows you to do. In the picture below the far left water rotopax is Gen 1 and the middle water rotopax is Gen 2, notice the bottom of the...

Point me to a 72"-80" wide RTT?

    I run an iKamper X-Cover on my X-venture trailer and it will be the smallest closed, probably the lightest at 120lbs and fit your requirements opened: Size (closed): 75" x 45" x 10" / 190cm x 115cm x 27cm (13.4"/34cm with cross bars mounted) Size (open): 91" x 75" x 44" / 230cm x 190cm x 110cm...

    Overland Vehicle Systems 270 Awning

I've had this awning for a few months now, and the self-supporting feature (during setup) is a godsend when one person is trying to open the awning. So far I've been very happy with it, and the forward facing portion gives the coverage area I needed for my trailer. This is a great price he's...

Decked storage vs bedslide for Tacoma with cap

I think the Decked drawers are overkill if you will have cap, there are other drawer systems that have smooth/carpeted tops that would be much nicer to sleep on and make better use of the space around the drawers IMO.

    Chevy Colorado Z71 vs ZR2

The biggest plus for me in the Bison bumper and skid plates is that it works with the crash structure and safety equipment (i.e. airbags), no aftermarket bumper can guarantee that.

2021 ZR2 approach angle, winch bumper etc...

I highly doubt Chevy would of made the approach angle worse for the ZR2 with the facelift, the Gladiator Rubicon is the most direct competitor and already has better approach angles, and my guess is what's under the new bumper fascia is the same as the 2020, it would cost way too much money in...

    Weatherproof fridge

I've had my ARB Elements in the back of my truck since Jan 2019 and it has put up really well to the extreme heat here in Austin, TX, it's also been through heavy rain storms, dust storms, mud, etc. I haven't used it in the snow. It's also put up with pressure washing to get it clean. I like the...
