I have it also, although it's installed, I haven't used as I share the tent with a friend who installed it, I can assure that it does roll up and does not impeded opening/closing the tent, as when I last used the tent it was up there all the time.

I would also suggest checking and occasionally re-tightening the bolts that hold the legs to the table. I've had them come loose before.

Now that I have fridges, I use my Yeti Tundra coolers for dry food, It really keeps dry food longer, being airtight and the humidity not getting into the food. Obviously an expensive route if you don't have them no longer used and hanging around.
