The problem isn't getting the dog UP in the tent... It's bringing them DOWN from the tent. Our dog can almost walk the ladder. However, I carry her down. But she's not that heavy, only 65lbs. :ylsmoke:

Andrew, She is coming along quite nicely. I personally vote for the tan. I have always liked that color, and have toyed with the idea of a tan 80. Also, curious as to why you went with the "light" springs? Are you concerned that once you're loaded up you'll sag too much under the weight?

Do you have to run a kayak on both the Sespe and Piru? Or could you use a raft? How about a river board? The pictures made it look kinda tight. Also, this maybe silly, but I am assuming this is a dry-suit type run. Or? I am new to this whole river thing. I have taken some, ummm, classes...

Dave, I am sure you have taken this into consideration already... But how long is the Kayak? Would mounting it on the trailer interfere with your turning radius, etc.? Also, since you said the tent cannot be shifted over anymore, I would focus on the rack. REI or any kayak place sells...

I should add, we have always used the rain-fly, and it has worked great. Also, I have not applied any type of sealant to our Eezi Awn. :gunt:

We have been in the rain a few times with our Eezi Awn. It kept us dry, and for the most part we didn't have any problems. We did let the tent sit in the morning sun for a while before we packed up and left. The issues we had were: 1. Putting Bella up in the tent. Imagine one of us holding...
