Debatable. My turnbuckles loosen on most trips. Might be due to variables such as truck type, camper type, and the roads driven. I just tighten them up when I make camp.

Mine came with a stall mat too. It is cut to fit between the bed mounting bars from fwc. I also use the tacoma bed mat on top of it all for a level surface. My turnbuckles do loosen up once in a while but i appreciate the shock absorbing effect of the mats for the miles of off road travel I put...

In camp under solar power? The alternator isn't on during this situation. Not sure we're on the same page. My CTEK has a temp probe that is placed near the 2nd battery for optimum charging from either solar or via alternator when engine is running. I'm not concerned with my set up. It is tried...

CTEK makes different products. My friends and I don't have the smart pass and have had no issues.

Just curious if this project was ever finished. I recently picked up a BullBar Mounting Brackets Clamp set from ebay for my Yakima bars but the 1" clamp doesn't seem to fit the 1" bar from Yakima.

I too purchased one with the recent REI coupon. While I've only tried one cool beverage without ice and it did well. Coffee on the other hand does cool much faster than the nissan type insulated bottles. Just my .02. I like the Yeti fine. It just isn't the end all be all of drink containers.
