Namibia

My wife and I were lucky enough to road trip through Namibia in December. We got a few good pics. There are many abandoned mining towns and shipwrecks along the skeleton coast. Wish we had been able to see more!

The coolest abandoned place I've stumbled upon to date.

"Abandoned".......but someone still mows the grass. I tried going back in 2010, but it was all fenced off pretty good.

Please excuse the pics, they are from 2007 from the first digital camera I ever owned, at a whopping 3.2 MP.

Not my trip report but those old 4GHz systems have been powered off for over 20 years. On most of the old AT&T sites the big cornucopia horns have been removed
