Randy, I appreciate the offer to talk but really no need if you cant provide a component that is vital to my needs. I understand you can't put in every option that people ask for but you do advertise the trailer as a 4 seasons trailer. Summer to me in South Texas is Air Conditioning time. I...
They don't offer the 4 inch ports required for the climate right unit. I would have had no problem getting a 3k+ generator for the Dometic unit but after finally getting some clarification from lead dog motorsports on the issue, they are trying to correct some previous mistakes in manufacturing...
Off Grid said they cant install an air conditioning unit due to the generator required and the power consumption. This baffles me since they say the installation part is not an issue, just the power consumption. I'm not sure if they have anyone over there who knowws what they are doing after...
This is why I want a teardrop. I can set up 2 regular tents and all gear in 2 hours. I have a lot of camping gear and fishing gear too, but a teardrop would reduce complete setup to 5 mins for a stop and 30 mins max for a complete overnight stop.
Check out Colorado Teardrops Summit. Has a queen size bed fpr the adults and bunks for the small kids. Plus the bunks convert into a couch for rainy days. It has an aluminum frame as well, which is what got me looking at them.

That overkill camper looks nice for what the description is. Not really any good pictures of it though. Has anyone ever seen one or are they just some prototype? How would that composite shell would compare to aluminum skin and aluminum frame?
Maybe Weeroll could build you what you are looking for. You will probably have to call as they dont answer emails and the website is horrible.

I use the X-Bull 10t ones for the sand and they work excellent. Bought 2 sets for 160$. Savings of $440 vs Maxtrax on recovery boards is quite a bit of money to put towards other equipment that get used much more often. The build quality seems top notch as well.
I love these trailers. The webpage is terrible for providing info on options and dimesions as well as everything else though. Also sent email 2 weeks ago with no response.
I live in Corpus Christi, TX. Makes sense about the RV shop. What I plan on doing is researching all of the individual components I want and purchasing them, and then find someone who knows how to install DC power equipment.
