My *slow going* M416 camping trailer build.

I find these things to be great. I carry firewood in it on the way out and trash in it on the way back. I have two of them and always seem to find a use.

    M416 Trailer....Need advice

Welcome to the M416 world!!!! If you want to keep the axle, US Adapters in Colorado can make you a set of adapter for about $150. If you are not set on the original go for the 3500# with the electric brake. I kept the original since i drive a CJ and the bolt pattern is the same. The...

    Jevy's humble M-416 build thread

I am with you on this rebuild. I am trying to get my old 79 CJ in good enough shape to drive it to OX13 in May outside of Flagstaff. Right now I am on my second tranny build (don't ask!)and as soon as it is finished I am going to make a few short (4 hrs or less) trips to test the Jeep out...

    Jevy's humble M-416 build thread

Glad you are getting better. Must be tough to get the parts and have to just stare at them! Like you I have the spare on the jeep since the bolt pattern is the same. I never could find a way to get a 10 lb propane on due to toolbox on the front area and highlift on the back. I am going to...

    M416 trailer Cutting round lip???

Not sure exactly what you are looking for but if you look at my build thread, I welded angle iron over the round tube, as Stuart is suggesting. It allows my lid (from Sierra) to fit flush and then I put a RTT on that. I have Rotopax on the side and could put jerry cans if needed but I chose to...

Wanted: 1/4 Ton M416 or Canadian M101 Jeep Trailer.

Bob: There is one is a guy's barn between Denton and Decatur. He uses it on his farm. He may entertain an offer. The lunette has been cut but is still there and he cut a tailgate in it. Send me a PM if you are interested and I will try and dig up a phone number and photos.

    Jevy's humble M-416 build thread

Same here. With a fused neck and a cracked back the doc keeps telling me that the old jeep is not good for me. Maybe not the body but it is great for the soul!!!!!!! BTW are those cj tail lights off of a 60's Mustang?
