FWIW here is the pricing I received from Firberine last year when I ordered my high top.
Obviously this was uninstalled and I would assume going through a shop who orders more then one top at a time price would be better.

Just returned home from 4 weeks on the coast.
The old fun hog did great other then a heater hose blow out. I had used the plastic Dorman heater tee's to tie in my hot water heat exchanger to the heater core hoses. And one of those plastic tee's broke, despite being sold as for radiator/heater...
Again a biased answer but to me it sounds like a high top GM conversion van would get you started in the right direction.
My stock AWD GMC with a 5.3L was getting 17mpg hi way average before I added the bigger tires.
Depending on how tall you are you may be able to stand in a standard high top...
Correct airline track, L track, O track I have found it called out multiple ways. US cargo control seems to have the best pricing.
Eh you know the saying jack of all trades master of none. I can do many things well but nothing perfectly and sometimes that gets on my nerves
Progress is slowly trudging along through the 90 degree heat and 111% humidity

Anyways thanks again and I look forward to the build.
Cheers!
