those seams are the culprit - almost positive the top composite panel is adhered to the top aluminum framing solely by that layer of sika

water will come in exactly as you describe if that perimeter seal is poor as pictured

turnbuckles with lock nuts should not need to be adjusted all that frequently - and they will connect to the points on the fwc that are reinforced to take load as well as easy to repair if by chance something happens

i had 300ah of lifepo4 running off a 40amp mppt controller (the panels were run in series) - i would typically hover around 20-24amps at peak
i will note: rarely parked in full sun, and mostly ran the that setup in fall/winter
upper portion of the camper (right below where the poptop meets the base) is a larger 6”ish perimeter of the aluminum frame - through bolts with a backing plate = success (use some butyl tape as well)
you could also try to source the long c-channel awning mounting brackets as well, a fiama will...

the pouch comes with retaining clips that the metal rings hang from - attached those clips by drill/tap/small phillips head bolt
also @chadx the inverter works perfectly for quickly charging up a surron...most fun ive had in a while
another storage idea you camp-xers might appreciate - i know ox is working with a company to provide soft pouches for various locations on the interior, but this is a perfect fit and holds a ton of stuff
