How about the 11.00r16 Michelin XZL tires? They are not a common size, and may be correspondingly expensive, but in the UK they are load rated to 4806 lb per tire. They are larger than your current tires but they have a much big sidewall.

Where I live in London its also a good idea to eave the glove box open. I've had a window smashed twice by people who want to see if I've left anything valuable in the glove box. Needless to say this has never happened on my truck.

No problem, I was introduced to it by a couple I met in Guanajuato. It was fairly new and not very useful when I first started to use it but its much better now. Strangely the US is pretty under used for decent boondocking sites.

My Webasto furnace coked up a couple of times when I was in the Rockies and I had to disassemble it without the right gasket to put it together. I just used a high-temp copper RTV silicone gasket that came in a tube from Ace Hardware. It works fine and no evidence of it leaking.
