They are stainless, so the wooden runners can be 'stuck' on and removed in a flash with magnets. I have got a set of three of the large containers and have just received two of the smaller ones. I find the setup where the bottom container is opened up and the top one is closed and has the...

Do you mean the 30 cm dutch oven? I have the same series but smaller 24 cm dutch oven. For big parties it is hard to beat a Potjie though

I don't deny anyone the chance of making some money ? Just hoping is doesn't detract from the R&D gear side of things. On the upside, a clothing shop in the Netherlands has just started selling SP apparel. They seem to have gotten some miscellaneous gear (by mistake or perhaps for display...

Fully agree. Here is a very compact and super flexible setup of the 2 unit IGT with the I think also discontinued multistand. I have two stainless side trays and two wood sliding inserts. You can get a lot of real estate from a small footprint(y) I sometimes fear SP is moving too much towards...

3 or 4 unit IGT frame, 6x80 cm legs, 2x60 cm legs, 2 IGT height adjusters, 1x extension table long, one corner L or R, IGT connection hooks 1 set That will give you a lot of options. Cook high and high workspace or 'bar area'. Cook high, sit at the extension table. All either in a line or using...

That will make a nice battle scar ;) You will tell your grandchildren it is a souvernir from when a group of thugs came to steal your SP gear but you changed their minds.... I have the set and love the scissors but am not a fan of the knife because it has a pointy heel (and I don't care...

I have had the single action table for 10 years now and none of that has happened. I think I have one extension table which has a small crack in the varnish but nothing like this. I think you should contact SP about this.

I have this set and the rice cooker that fits inside. Love it but I bought it years ago when the USD was much weaker. The set is discontinued but if you find a set and are able to get a good deal on it, go for it ? Nice big pots, stainless folding handles and high end indeed ?

spikemd, With the cast iron top (which is indeed sloped to drain fat to a hole in the middle and then to a drip pan) the heat is good. I can get a nice sear on a steak. I was also a bit worried. From looking at the flames you would not expect a lot of heat but is does pretty good. I let the...

I have the Hexa L pro set. Bought it in 2011 and still good as new. Easy to set up, storm proof and lots of useable space. Can't really fault it other than (as with a lot of Snow Peak gear) it is not too light, but this is mainly due to the robust forged iron pegs that come with the set.

@Riptide, I took the SMALL firepit. That is quite manageable :) The pots are the High End Aluminum cooking set. If I am not mistaken they were discontinued a couple of years ago.

Just got back from Camping in the Dordogne in France. Very hot most of the time so great thing I brought the Large tarp  I got to use the grill burner some more in its orginal setup and it is actually not bad. Grilled some nice (huge) tuna steaks Had a surf and turf platter Did...

So it all starts with the fact that more and more campsites in Europe have a 'no charcoal BBQ' policy. Bummer  When Snowpeak come out with the grill burner, I bought it to at least have some BBQ possibility whilst camping. I am talking about this: This was the second revision of what was...

Oh yeah, that's what I call cooking. Love it ! Care to share the recipe for the Beef Short Ribs ? Braised and grilled or only braised? Baby paksoi as a side dish? Eryngii are some of the tastiest mushrooms around. All in all a Five Star Meal :D

Had a little grill weekend in the north of the Netherlands. Got to do what the SP gear is meant for....use it :-) Took the box and table. Still happy with my DIY sliding lid on the box. My fellow grillers usually take truckloads of stuff, but I am most happy with a setup like this. Had a nice...
