New truck prices are insane, but trying to take a 10-20 year old truck with between 100k and a quarter million miles on it and making it 100% is time consuming, when I was younger I drove old stuff because I was broke. It was never the engine( not counting timing chains/belts and...
Awesome truck, a 5500 is my next truck too. I have USAA too, I wonder what the issue was? I have a Ram 2500 now with them, I just assumed a 3500 or bigger would be no sweat

Nice work, if it was me I’d go to Tractor Supply or equivalent and tie wrap a light kit on, you need to get one anyway.

Thanks!
I have built up a nice shop over several decades. (Typically I spend my toy money on tools)
Self taught, but pretty picky standards :), i started with machining(lathe and mill) and wood is easy after working to .001”, although finishing (stains etc) is a whole science that I’m still...

Side note, as a guy that grew up on the East coast I had never experienced big wild fires . I hiked Glacier National Park with some friends this summer, and there were several fires. You and...

I read a review online somewhere ( may even have been a Expo article on stoves) and it wasn’t that favorable, sharp edges and lousy welds, I would spend the extra 100
