35's in my XJ with no more lift?!

you didnt have to go that crazy, my friend has stuffed 37s under a 2" lift without cutting out the back fenders.

OME shocks/springs will suit your needs quite well, though i'd suggest the heavy option if you plan on camping with it, since gear weight can load up pretty fast, and youll get a full 3" of lift out of the heavy kit. that and i'd recommend 31" tires over the 30s. Dirk is great, calling him...

    Need Better shocks.

Bilstein 5150 255/70 valve. OME's are soft and cushy if thats your taste, but I prefer the control the bilsteins give with the firmer valving.

you can run 37s with no lift.

    Aussie locker

I'd be more leery of locking the D35, since itll grenade on you. I've DD'd my XJ with a locked rear for 2 years now, wet/snow/ice is a non-issue, it drives the same as a tight LSD would in those conditions.

    Surco rack question

^^^^^^ very interesting. i love my surco, nice and light for when im in the rocks and its not loaded, but IMHO its still pretty strong. i've put 300+ pounds up there for a weekend without an issue.

    Need Better shocks.

yup. theyre for fullsizes. theyre the norm for 'big ole lifted truckz,' a jeep is way too light for em, and better shocks exist for any application that rancho makes a shock for.
  14. XJLI

    Need Better shocks.

front first, it oscillates more. no rancho branded product should ever be on a jeep.

    Need Better shocks.

Bilstein 5150. best bang for your buck, period. rachos dont belong on an XJ, pro comp sucks at everything, any twin tube shock is cheap crap. OME is pretty good, FOX rocks but youll pay for it.

    Seat questions for an XJ

just grab some angle iron, drill some holes, and bolt in the seats. bolt the angle to the floor using the factory 93 studs, and drill holes in the angle for the 99 seats. then just drill through the floor and bolt down in the back. hardest part was drilling through the angle iron.

Street Tire Pressure for BFG A/T 33x10.5s?

Running 45-50PSI is still way to high unless your Jeep weighs 5000lbs loaded with gear.

Street Tire Pressure for BFG A/T 33x10.5s?

lololol seriously? the contact patch at 50, hell, 40 PSI is dangerously small on a Jeep. I run my 33x10.5 BFG MTs at 33 on the highway to squeeze 1-2 more MPG out of the Jeep, and leave them around 27/28 normally.
