    2012 Ram 2500 4x4 Hemi vibration issue

    My Ram has a decent vibration under hard braking. The truck is very smooth on the highway at 70. When the truck is moving slowly with the brake applied the vibration seems to be once per wheel rotation. You can feel the vibration in the brake pedal and steering wheel. It's enough to be annoying...

    Alaskan Camper '84/'14 Build Thread

    Had to roll the camper out to rearrange the shop and get some new (old) cabinets in. I figured I would pop the top and take some pics. First time it's been outside :) I was a bit irritated that I had to roll it back in. Sent from my Passport

    @Adrifters - F550 Surf Camper Build - Adrift Motorhome

    S2DM- thanks, that's not bad because I don't need that much. Idasho-if I was designing from scratch that's how I would make it. Basically a flange top and bottom that the upper section would seal against when up or down Sent from my Passport

    @Adrifters - F550 Surf Camper Build - Adrift Motorhome

    Nice work, also looks like a good test run. I'm real glad you posted that seal. I have been avoiding doing the seals on my essentially new Alaskan because I don't like any of the solutions I bought. I have a $150 roll of Pirelli seal and about every kind of garage door and entry door seal...

    Sika 715 users??

    Here's everything but the front vent. It didn't even stick a little bit to the Fantastic Fan flange, just the mounting screw heads. Sent from my Passport

    Sika 715 users??

    Disregard.. I'm peeling it all off. I'm pretty OCD and will obsess over whether it's a good seal. I looked at some of the areas I caulked, some of the 715 is grey and watery, now that I think of it, one of the tubes I had ordered puked out the bottom of the tube the box, I had placed a huge...

    Sika 715 users??

    For some stupid reason they use the same number Sikaflex 715 is a roof sealant, Sikalastic 710/715 is part of their construction /traffic system. Sent from my Passport

    Sika 715 users??

    Thanks for the reply!, you have seen it do this? I'll give it a few more days. It would be really nice if it cured, my roof can't be walked on so removal of the sika would be very difficult Sent from my Passport

    Sika 715 users??

    I'm seriously irritated right now. I used two whole tubes of Sika 715 to seal two Fantastic fans and a couple seams on the new roof of my Alaskan rebuild. It's been at least 48 hours and possibly 72 since I applied it and it's still sticky to touch. It holds its shape and if you push your finger...

    New battery cable help

    If the engine cranks strongly and starts sometimes, and other times it doesn't even crank over, then it is very unlikely to be the battery cables, look for loose wires inn the ignition circuit. As mentioned above 12v applied straight to the starter will eliminate the battery, cables, starter...

    New battery cable help

    Lots of online places will make custom cables with proper crimps, adhesive lined heat shrink and high flex wire http://www.custombatterycables.com/ is one, I have never used them. I was lucky and borrowed a very expensive hydraulic crimper from work and made my own. Keith Sent from my Passport

    My DIY solution to the UEV 440

    I hear you, but I bet if you used grade 8 bolts you could hang the tow vehicle and trailer off one bolt. Most of the force is in shear and the shear strength of the bolt would be 60000 plus psi Sent from my Passport
