    Audio guru help needed

Put a flush mount jack wired to the rear of the unit into a nearby surface. "Talk is cheap. Whiskey costs money."

Little mods/upgrades/additions that make a big difference

Any lawsuit would likely name all the corporate officers and dredge up some reason for our talented OP to have to shell out thousands to unnecessarily defend himself anyway. Whores in suits chasing ambulances. "Talk is cheap. Whiskey costs money."

My Quest to Add a Long Range Fuel Tank To My LR4 Begins

4wd vehicles have a higher rollover rate than those without. If that risk is acceptable why the worry? "Talk is cheap. Whiskey costs money."

My Quest to Add a Long Range Fuel Tank To My LR4 Begins

And you won't. They don't have ambulance chasing whores in suits in Australia protecting bubble wrapped members of the public.

I bought the whole SMB for $1800 and swapped it over. Pictures on the SMB forum. Same user name. "Talk is cheap. Whiskey costs money."

    Bought a old beast!

Put a 1995 5.9 L Dodge Magnum motor in it with a 518 overdrive transmission. Mileage will improve. "Talk is cheap. Whiskey costs money."

High Efficiency Air Conditioning Units for non-generator powered campers

I'd go stainless as the OE style rubber never seems to survive any type of motion. Your setup would have to allow hoses to be in motion (swaying) constantly. I believe the risk of a rubbing through would be lower with SS. "Talk is cheap. Whiskey costs money."

    pivoting frames and mounting campers

I agree that following the chassis maker's requirements has to take precedence. I believe the issue here is also going to depend on the box design and how flexible it is with torsional loads as it "follows" the frame twisting. A perfectly solid box will restrict the frame possibly breaking...

    Parts Availablilty by Make

Hi, Jump on the Delica Canada forum and ask for help finding importers and parts suppliers for Japanese trucks. The rules in Canada start at 15 years so we have a head start on the oddball, but fun Far East stuff. I've read many posts about importers and suppliers there. Regards, Gavin...

High Efficiency Air Conditioning Units for non-generator powered campers

Hi, Traditional split systems use a pan to collect the condensation that drips off the evaporator while in use. The instructions for the unit stress level mounting so the drain tube can keep the drip pan flowing. Parking the rig level is SOP for us so no problem. I wonder what happens when...

    Pint Glass for camping

I use a one of a kind, custom made Irish crystal pint mug from Dingle Crystal in county Kerry. Weighs over 2 lbs and is hand cut. Why take it with me and risk it? I love it as art as well as a container and refuse to make a hangar queen out of it. It won't break sitting on a shelf, but it...

Bigfoot winter cold mods ....update diesel heater installation

Great idea and can draw directly off diesel tank. My concern is a fuel burning appliance between you and a safe egress. For the same reason furnaces are not installed under staircases. If the unit goes up in flames how do you get out? "Talk is cheap. Whiskey costs money."

    Snorkel Installation Question

Any automotive glass shop will have access to a caulking tube urethane that will work. It's the same stuff used to seal windshields into their frames. Silicone has a hard time sticking to any kind of polyethylene like the snorkel is made of. "Talk is cheap. Whiskey costs money."
