SOLD!
I've decided to sell my roof rack project for pennies on the dollar. With an expanding family I really have no time to devote to this in the next couple of years.
I designed the side pieces and had them waterjetted out of 1/4" thick 6061-T6 aluminum. This material is nearly 3 times...
This is my wireless thermometer. Reflection of reflection of my fridge's actual temp readout (left side of image below). Stupid simple and nothing to fail. A little sensitive to lighting conditions though.
Details of underbody tank posted. @1811 Cruiser
That one took over $350 $500 to build. You can buy this one for less than 1/3rd 1/5th of that.... so BUMP.
Since several people have asked for it I'll post details soon in this thread:

Hi Dave...
Plywood platform 31x18"
Overall height 16.5"
Aluminum Frame Footprint 30x14.375"
There's about 3" of empty space between the top of the tank and underside of the plywood, so you can reach in and open the fill cap. You could potentially reduce that by up to 1-1.5" if that was a...

The swivel plate is the way I was planning to mount the ipad, either with velcro directly to the ipad's case, or with something more sophisticated like a RAM tab-tite cradle or similar. The plate dimensions are 6x6 square with a 3-1/8" square hole pattern. There's another rectangular hole...
Awning room is SOLD.
ARBs item description is confusing. The 2000mm wide awning pulls out to the same length as the 2500 wide one. Hence the 2000x2500 designation....

Will be doing one shortly on the underbody one on ih8mud.com .
I have decided to offer this only for local sale because the shipping is crazy expensive. Should have priced it out before.
Anyone want to pick it up in Michigan? First right of refusal goes to teethless since I took his money...
These are actually a pair of Magliner commercial hand truck tires. I bought them for my off-road trailer project to make Aussie-style jockey wheels, since I was not satisfied with the hard-plastic/rubber wheels available in the US. My thoughts being, if I want to unhitch and move the trailer on...
Hi...thanks for looking. With the style of travel we do (moving camp every day) I haven't really found the need to carry or use the solar. It's only needed if you stay at a spot for more than a night.
