Sorry, not trying to hijack, but a means for someone to see the end result, and offer a few build ideas.
As far as milage concerns, the new Toyo A/T IIs are aggressive enough for moderate + wheeling and are extremely quiet- and best of all don't have a negative effect on fuel consumption...
I just sold mine, and kept all the 'goodies'- leveling pucks, tires(285/75-17 Toyos)/wheels(Raptor), rear air bags, etc. I also have a very nice front skid I never got mounted. All available for sale I might add...
Can/will you palletize it and drop off in Dorval at Forward Air terminal?
Also, what T-case are you running it with currently, and what size tires?

Semi at that price point, which isn't bad, but also not tempting. I have a 200 for the project, but would much prefer the auto box not to mention all the engine upgrades. For the right price, I could be very motivated.

Just sold my 150 and these have 5k miles on them, no issues. I love the tire, and went with the same thing, only bigger on my Excursion.

I am a big fan of the A/T-IIs- third set on 3 different vehicles.
I have aset of 285/75-17s if someone wants to save a few $$, off my '13 F-150 (sold it), 5k miles. PM if interested... In fact, will list them under vehicle parts too.
Just bought new 315/75-16s for the Excursion- great all...
Post #11 above makes a very good case, and doesn't even address the maintenance cost which will likely tip the scale to even if not in favor of the petrol.
I started this same quest, but after doing a bit of research, found the 6.8 to be the best solution. Initial cost is way lower- I paid $7k...
