excellent trip report by Offroad Passport co-founder DZJeepChic is now up - starts here (page 3, post 27): http://offroadpassport.com/forum/showthread.php?p=13142
and a new pic from D that i really liked:
i've been using a Watershed Colorado dry-duffel lately as my single bag solution for storing sleeping bag, pillow, and clothes for up to a 1 week trip. i'm loving this so much more than using a compression sack for the sleeping bag and separate bag for clothes, etc. it can easily go on the roof...
never had husky, but i have 60k miles on a set of the weathertech "floorliner digitalfit" style in my Grand and they still look exactly like when i bought them (when they are recently washed anyway). they don't move around at all. my only complaint would be the sides bow in a little on the front...
thanks guys!
yesterday i setup a removable Engel Slide-Lock base and configured the Edgestar fridge to work with it: http://offroadpassport.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1384
haha, no he came home early via a ride from someone else with more minor mechanical problems, got his diesel truck and trailer and came back for the Jeep (but the M101 wouldn't fit on his trailer with his Jeep, and so i towed it!)
this isn't mine, just a pic i took on a recent trip of my friend's rig & trailer that i like:
'course after his transmission went out, i did tow his trailer home for him 400 miles, so i guess i should at least get to borrow it now ;)
hey guys! spoke with you briefly at the Hall's Crossing gas station a few nights ago, and then you camped just down from us at the campground. (our group was getting ready to do the Hole in the Rock Trail.) it was nice to meet you and i wish you the very best on your journey!
