New old Alaskan 8' cab over

These things are pretty simple, but well constructed. A couple 2x2s and some 3/4" ply and I will have this all cleaned up. Someone had done a nice job on the other side in the somewhat recent past, so this is the extent of the rot. The bottom of the camper is in good shape, and I poked around at...

New old Alaskan 8' cab over

You can't be afraid to dive in! I suspected there was some rot along the bottom of the curb side topwall( below the window, and around the arch by the cab over. It was a pain to get to, as I want to reuse the siding. The bottom pc is iffy, but my neighbor has a siding brake. Sent from my...

    For the sake of argument...

If you try getting lots of torque from the (souped up oil burner)engine to big tires, it has to be transmitted thru the frame.

    Any Tundra owners ?

I have had half a dozen Toyotas over the years and the Tundra was my first choice this time around, but like the poster above I ended up with a Ram 2500 with more features and payload (double) for the same money ( I ended up buying a used one with 10k on it, but even new was similar $ to the Tundra)

cricket from cricket trailers making a in bed camper

No disrespect, but it looks like a salt spreader with roof. As pointed out above, its way too tall, and the taper above the bedrail wastes lots of space.
