Got out on some curvy back roads on Monday with my Father in Law. Great way to wrap up the Thanksgiving long weekend.
Getting cold and dark earlier here now. Might get another ride or two in this season... then will have to put the bike away for the winter. :(
Don't want this to turn political but, I will say a agree and leave it at that.
Our PM bungled that and it also caused a housing shortage here which impacted rents and house prices.

Would be nice but, in my experiences wages have never kept up with inflation.
When I was young, first 'real' job I was able to afford rent, food, etc... 20 years ago, if I recall correctly... I *think* rent for the two bedroom apartment was $650ish? As a newbie I think I was making 20ish bucks...
Had they had the Hurricane out when I was truck shopping, I very much could have ended up in a Ram.
I didn't like how my 5.0 performed while towing so it was between the Ecoboost F150 and 22 Tundra for me. Obviously went with the F150 judging by my avatar, lol
That being said, I think it...
I understand costs rise. I can understand a $1,000 or so rise in prices every year. But a near 20K bump in MSRP over 3 years is nuts.
How many F150's does Ford sell in a year? It's shooting them and likewise Stellantis in the foot as inventory is languishing on lots.
There are still new...
I totally get that. Recently, I found a car that is close enough to one of my all time favorite cars that I wanted to pick it up. Super cheap too.
Wrong year but close enough. Might even be able to swap out the front to correct it.
What the plan would be:
But then I realized, I...
For sure. And it's not just Ford, Ram and Jeep that are guilty. Lots of manufactures automotive or otherwise are guilty of huge price jumps over the past few years. Locally seeing discounts around 14K on 1/2 tons and 10K on 3/4 - 1 tons. Tons of discounts on boats, RV's and other toys. But...
2025 F150 Build and price is now up. Built a truck like my 22. Couldn't add the $1,000 FX4 pkg because now Ford makes you choose between Max tow and FX4. Mine has both. My 22 302a XLT was just under 67K. 3 years later and with less equipment 2025 model is 84k. Almost 20K more? Insane...
Seemed like profiteering to me. But tomAto / TomAHto.
At the end of they day, they can charge whatever they want. If people continue buy, good on them.
Personally, I'll wait for prices to come back down to reality (which they are starting to) before I buy anything else.
Agreed. But, in cross shopping I found similarly equipped Bronco's were about the same price. Both, are way over priced for what they are to me.
But, maybe I'm just cheap, lol
