Huh... I wonder if the trailer would looked good wrapped to match the truck.... Match the wheels to the truck...
Maybe do the graphics in white to break up the blue...
Hmmm....
Yep. ANY truck has the potential to have issues. New / Used/ GM/ Ford/ V6 TT / V8 / gas / diesel/ whatever....
Get extended warranty if possible and hope for the best.
Just buy the one you like best.
Tough call. Both nice trucks. Drive them both and see which one you like better. Like you said, more payload in the Tremor but better mileage in the Chev.
I *think* the F150 may offer more room in the back for the kiddos.
Another option would be to go FX4 or Trail Boss. That way you can get...
Now the trailer just needs 40's....
Are you planning provisions to be able to take your bike with you as well? Hitch carrier on the back of the trailer or something?
So I take it you ended up selling your converted trailer?
I hear you on the factory supplied mattresses. We ended up getting this mattress topper for ours:
40's? :p
Curious, what made you go the custom frame route on the Casita vs buying a toy hauler to carry the bike?
Or what about carrying your bike on the front of your truck?
Huh. That's a pretty interesting solution to carrying a bike while camping.
I didn't think a trailer tongue could carry that much weight or would be long enough.
What kind of trailer?
Right? Mount the KLR then you could put some pics of the adventures you've had on it on some canvas and hang them around the bike.... It would be pretty cool!
Must be nice! I have to ride a few hours just to get to some decent gravel / dirt roads / two track trails.
Best ones are about 3.5 hours away. And that's just to get to the trailhead.....
