Yup. The added buy in coast of the diesel engine plus the higher cost of maintenance on top of the fact that diesel is usually more expensive than gas keeps me out of them.

Last truck was between an EcoBoost F150 and Tundra cause I wanted the low end torque of a twin turbo for towing. My last V8 truck was always running around 4,000 RPM at 60 mph. (5.0 w/ 3:73's)

I'd be worried about carrying gas cans on my doors. What happens in the event of a T-bone collision? Scrapping metal around puddle of gas right by where the driver would have to exit? I don't know bout that.
I know. Me too. Looks like it won't be out till 2025. So, gotta see where I'm at by then. Not really planning on replacing this current truck for at least 6 years. And I might decide to retire this truck just to RV towing duties and maybe get something fun like a 2 door JL to DD.
