Agreed. The Duratracs I had on my previous truck were decent on snowy / icy roads. I found them better than the Toyo AT3's I have on this truck. Once the AT3's wear out I'm undecided between Nokian Outposts, The Wildpeaks and possibly going back to Duratracs. The only thing I didn't like...

Looking forward to the build! Sounds like you've got a good plan to turn it into a fun vehicle for getting out and exploring. I think these vehicles are more capable than they get credit for and are probably more capable than most people will ever need.

Sorry, but my favorite out of all those phots is by far the Metallic Pea family truckster . Those Jeeps are just not my style. Although I'm sure they're typical of most 4 wheel drives at that show. Thank you for posting up pictures from the show. Greatly appriciated.

Other benefit of a trailer is... well you have a trailer. Never know when it might come in handy for something else. Personally, I prefer tandem just due to the fact I find them easier to back up than single axle trailers.

Out of curiosity, how many miles do you have on your truck now?
