Also, I still have a new Edelbrock Performer intake to install, as well as new valve covers to clean things up a bit. That will happen this summer I'm sure. No recent progress on the trailer. Been busy with other stuff, starting a new job in a few weeks, etc.

The jeep is RUNNIN' Long story short, the above changes I made, made a huge difference. Right after the work I did, I went on a trip that was about 60 miles in the dirt, jeep ran great. Been tweaking the settings trying stuff out, but overall, its good. Still getting the odd popping and...

Alrighty. Initial test results are favorable. Got the modded duraspark installed with an MSD big cap and adapter, and I am currently running big HEI wires. Untitled by Marn, on Flickr Inside of the locked out dizzy, where you can see the reluctor is phased. Untitled by Marn, on Flickrn, on...

    Dice...... The 1978 Jeep Wagoneer

Your Wagoneer is like taking a step back in time, it’s awesome. Mine is like being stuck in a hellish nightmare that never ends because you think you finally woke up and are safe, but realize that was all just part of the nightmare and you’re still in it

well, i went the cheap route. the parts have been acquired, the Ignition control is mostly wired, the modified duraspark dizzy has been stabbed, plugs all connected. Just need to mount the coil, connect a couple wires, and fire the bish up.

Well, i got a bunch of ******** together to try and ditch my HEI and set up timing control. I'm going to run a modded factory duraspark, a Street fire ignition control unit, and a street fire TFI style coil. I'm just conflicted as to whether I should try to work with the home-brew duraspark...

Okay, so while working on the trailer I'm going to make another effort to fix the EFI issues. The minimal help I have gotten from MSD suggests that its "because of the HEI." I've procured a stock duraspark distributor that ym friend removed the mechanical and vacuum advance mechanisms from...

Closest house is about 100 yards in any direction, plus, im just grinding during daylight hours :-) 3 sides are done being stripped and are primered. My helper started in on the frame. I'll probably pull the axle and springs, but leave the rest assembled. Still not sure on what color to...

Making some progress. Trailer tub has been pulled, noted the frame is slightly out of square (appears to have been welded as such, not from damage). I will be shimming one corner of the tub to level it out. needs about 1/2" shim back there. Probably just going to cut out some shims from a block...

I wanted to color match it but the wife was all ‘no just so army green or desert tan’. Truth be told I’m sure I’ll have the trailer longer than the jeep so she makes a good point. Also it’ll sometimes be towed behind the dakota as well as whatever I replace it and the wag with in the future

Well, drug it home 500 miles behind my dodge, sitting a little low. Zero issues, hubs stayed cool, towed like a dream and had no idea it was there. trailer1 by Marn, on Flickr Hooked it to the wagoneer to see how it'll sit, its a teeny bit low in the front but with some weight in it, it...

Lol thanks. It’s an almost completely stock M416, not sure on year as it was titled as a home built a few years ago due to not having a title...well it technically doesn’t have a title still because its from New York but whatever. Spoke to the DMV and it should be an issue. Going to do a mild...

Prices only seem high on the Late models, but either way, we'll see what happens. I have way bigger things in life to deal with money wise and effort wise right now. I'm sure I'll just keep putting around in it this summer. We (finally) got a lil white stuff so I drug the wife out for a little...

'07 Dodge Ram 4x4 Exploration & 5th Wheel Tow Rig

This is awesome Scott, glad to see you working on this build. Judging by the work I have seen you do on other vehicles this should be clean and expertly executed :-) I hope all is well with you and yours.

Still being super wishy washy on what I want to do with my jeep life. Keep the wag around, get something different, do more work on the wag, abandon it, no idea. I'm not sure the last time I drove it even.
