Just out of curiosity why not a FWC or similar pop up where the dinette turns into a bed?
It'll be tricky trying to open / close the door and get into bed without waking a baby that you have to climb over to access your bed.
Good luck on the interviews!
I get that. Kids do need space for sure. How do you foresee camping overlanding and accommodating a child?
PS.... Older kids need a lot of space too... Ask me how I know.. ;)
I get that. I should have done more research before I bought mine (which is weird cause I usually research the hell out of everything before I purchase). I just went on Amazon and bought the one with the most positive reviews, lol. I think the one I bought had 40,000 + 4.5 star reviews... But...
Looks like a great adventure! Thank you for sharing the pictures.
I got a chuckle out of this one. Looks like the dogs are out for a drive on their own, haha
Well if you're going to do it in the next few years, why not just save yourself the time, money and hassle of redoing your suspension down the road and just go with 40's now? Didn't your Power Wagon have 40's?
My neighbor swears by his quad lock. It looks pretty solid as well.

I like that they have different mounting system to suit where you'd prefer to mount your phone.
The brake reservoir and fork stem mount...
Thought this could be neat for a tray back conversion like a PCOR?

Another vote for 2500. Picked up this Camaro in Ellensburg WA and hauled it back to Edmonton AB.
Took the scenic route back through Glacier National Park.
I can say the 6.0L / 3:73 combo wasn't super great and we experienced some brake fade.
Can't imagine what it would've been like with a 1500...
