When I was doing the RTT thing, my dog slept on the ground next to the Jeep, or in the Jeep itself if I didn't want her wandering off (IE: others were camped nearby, coyotes were around, etc). IMO - dogs (or other pets) don't belong in the bed. Their place is on the floor (ground in this case).

It appears that Marisa lucked out & didn't bring many home. She found one or two of the little critters when she emptied her bag of dirty clothes, but the bites on her arm are the only other evidence of them (and believe me - we've been looking for the little bastards).
