OME Lift Install on 05+ Tacoma

It has worked great so far. I think its because the 255s are skinny, so they do not rub.

Progression of a NEW Photographer (At least I hope to be)

OK a few more from this weekend. I tried a few tricks I got off of people. Again, ALL ADVICE AND CRITIZISM IS WELCOME AND ENCOURGAGED, only way I will learn is by ppl calling me out on my mistakes! First off, I owe thanks to Justin (Gear) for showing me how to "paint" objects. So I did a long...

    Doc's 05 Tacoma Build Thread

A few pics before you had to evacuate. Hope everything came out of the bed! (Hope you don't mind me posting them in here, figured it would get the thread back on track and away from the age old tire debate. Let me know if you want me to remove them)

    Doc's AT FlipPac Build Thread

An idea I plan on doing once I get my flippac is rigging up a mosquito net to separate the sleeping quarters from the rest of the truck, I plan on doing it with magnets like you see on doors these days so you just crawl through it and it will close itself automatically.

So if my photos are "soft" how do I correct that (sorry dont really know what that even means)...i mean do i need more/less ISO, longer/shorter shutter, larger/smaller apperature? I finally just learned about the exposure meter in my view finder and how to use it, so now im trying to play with...

Progression of a NEW Photographer (At least I hope to be)

OH ok..that explains it. I noticed as I tried to do them, when i went with even longer exposures, the sky got very light (looked like day time with stars) which makes sense as long exposure allows more light in...I was always wondering how people were able to get the star trails but still look...

Progression of a NEW Photographer (At least I hope to be)

    2. This is great, exactly the input i am looking for. The Nikon has two slots so I have one card recording in RAW and one recording JPG, however I do not do any post processing (I have not learned, or even bought Photoshop or anything yet), so all these are strait out of the camera. Most of...

Yeah, that is my plan, wait until I learn what type of shots and ranges I do more of then get specific better lenses. I have a LOT to learn with the current setup..it is MUCH MUCH more capable than I am as it stands. I did order that book though. I figure helpful books are a good place to spend...

Progression of a NEW Photographer (At least I hope to be)

Well, I have finally decided to take the plunge and buy a camera and hopefully learn how to use it. With the help of a lot of ppl (many on this forum, sorry for the million questions), I pulled the trigger on a Nikon D7000 with the kit lens, VR18-105 F/3.5-5.6G (I figure I will get better lenses...

Hm, I am not sure how rigid mounts, but this one mounts with two bolts, one on either side. It comes with a little stantion for each side as well to mount it to a flat surface. I beleive you can see it in the pics.

Who wants LED's but fear the price?

As stated, photos are in the GB thread linked above. I have the new round aero pods, and I can confirm that the SINGLE 10W cree in the pod outshines the blitzpro 4LED pods posted above byt a LARGE margin (I use the blitzpro for fog lights, so I have both types). The aliens really are MUCH MUCH...
