WTB (Phoenix,AZ) - 1400 RTT, Fuel and Water tanks, Heat exchanger, Warn Winch

For your consideration, I have a EA 1400 T-top which I love (and not selling), but if I was going to get another RTT, I would give the stargazer serious consideration. in hot climates, the EA 1400 does get a bit hot in there, which my family complains about. It's a fantastic for extreme...

    Lifetime Camping table

Great to know! I picked up two at Sam's club after seeing them used by NLX down in Guatemala, but I need a 3rd and don't have a membership. I'll pick the last one up at Kmart now.

Cool little time lapse of a camp set up from REI

That black dog was constantly in the way. I'm surprised he didn't leave the camp for good. On second thought, he did tend to hover around the stove area.

"EXPEDITION" SHOWER MAT ON THE CHEAP

a rubber floor mat from the front seat of a vehicle would also work well, and prove double purpose.

If the PO has that many Rover pictures, he needs to make the switch. Life is to short. One life-Live it.

    OOPS SORRY

Without taking a position either way, I can understand the rationale behind the law. People are fantastic at uncovering loopholes in legislation. It would not take a great stretch of imagination to visualize people that did not want to pay for a hunting license that might bait roadways for...

Opinions on 130 body configuration please

Classic 110 or 130 for sure! I would only go with one of the bottom two choices if absolulely necessary to meet some kind of commercial requirement. That length isn't practical as a DD or off road.

Can anybody tell me what is going on here?

That 110 is Graham Jackson's. I'm confident that whatever was displayed there, he was present, and it was demonstrating a very important skill with safety at top of mind.

Into the heart of darkness - El Mirador with NLX

25 Feb 2012- Day 4 Woke up to my first morning in the Peten jungle after a great, although short night of sleep in their African tent. NLX had provided cots as well (S. African made but can’t remember the brand) which in combination with my military sleep system bag proved a comfortable...

Defender 110; vs Range Rover classic

Dale, I can't imagine how you can make that statement! Having a 110 myself, and being in the military with a bujillion miles in military HMMWV's, I have a spent a good many of those miles wishing I was in my 110, and recalling how much more comfortable those washboard roads would be in it. I...

    Camp chairs

I bought a set of Pico's when they first came out, and took one as well when I deployed to Iraq. I also motivated several friends to buy them as well. I can no longer recommend them. While they are marvelous from a design and comfort standpoint, they have an inherent build shortcoming. I...

    Hangers, I need some input.

I became a big believer in the hammock while traveling with NLX in Guatemala earlier this year. They use jungle hammocks that use a suspension system made from winch line that they swear by, It happens to be made my a member of this forum. Whatever you choose, you want simplicity...

Which side to mount the awning?

I would have to chime in again and agree with this. I failed to mention that my rear safari door opens to the right hand side AND my Eezi-awn T-top, when opened over the back with the annex room underneath, only has a door on the left hand side. Both of those favor the left side, which were...
