Well, it's about time to get back to this story. I've been prompted by several members, and in the interest of posterity, I'm going to see it thru!

In reference to the clearance issue, my recommendation is to install a long whip antennae on your front bumper that is as tall as your RTT. When you see the antennae start to bend, you know you've exceeded your clearance. It'll save your tent from a good whack.
I'd consider 2 fuel and 1 water a fair trade. You'd have to get the viton gaskets though for unleaded. I can take pics later if you like. They're all military (water is tan, fuel is OD)
My NAS 110 and my buddy's Range Rover Classic in Uwharrie National Forest (NC) last weekend for the Old North State Land Rover Society URE9 rally. Was great to get some mud on the tires finally.
Bump for chains! Another year gone and the Rover got new shoes today in a larger size, so these need to go so I can get larger chains. Get a good deal on these before winter arrives!
I so want to go to this, but I don't think I'll make it. This must have all developed while I was in Africa last month! I asked if this is an annual event at Murphy, NC because I've been wanting to mix with the Overland crowd for quite sometime. I'm going to be at the URE9 event in October...
