    Quadratec winch

Thanks Jerry. Good luck on your upcoming move! I have run a warn HS9500, a mile marker and a superwinch. All three bought used, all three performed well, although the superwinch is on it's last legs, hence the search for a new winch.

Jerry - have you had the chance to use the winch in a real world pull yet? I am on the cusp of a new winch search... thanks. John

CP3 - meet the heep! 5 years in the making...

Interested to see how this comes out. My wife likes to tell me, "You can't "camperize" everything!" I am going to use your build to show her that ain't exactly true :-) John

    Bang!

3rd deer taken this season tonight. A doe, decent size. My first with my Armalite M15. 18 inch barrel, match trigger, sweet shooting 223 wylde 1:8 twist, hit in the spine right at the neck. She was on the move, along with 3 other does. An 80 or so yard shot. Happy with the rifle, happy...

Gunsite 250: My 5-Day Pistol Course Experience

Awesome report. Thanks for sharing so much detail. Affordability on this kind of thing is a huge factor, but there is no denying the need for those of us who carry and those of us who live "outside" normal law enforcement response times. Has me rethinking my choice of carry weapon and also...

Nice jeep and nice find on the wheels. Have you gotten wheel adapters to make them work on your axles?

Jim, I always appreciate your input. Always makes good sense. I have switched already to 16" rims (moabs, bought used, as you suggested). You are right about the engine skid for sure. I have been contemplating the table idea instead of the drop down tailgate. Pretty sure I can fab up...

    Bang!

Nice. I took a doe last year with a 357 mag out of a 4" barrel. 25 yard shot, she went 20 or so yards and dropped. 125gr. Winchester silvertip. Good luck this year. John

Nothing compared to what you guys have posted, but I was quite happy with this 7 point, killed last year on opening day. Scared him up at a thicket on my way to my stand.... probably no more than a couple hundred yards from the house. He took off, I dropped my stuff and hit him at 150 yards...
