Well up until now i have not had to use a mechanic at all so i dont have any idea what this shop knows or how well they work. does anyone know of any good shops that could reset it in the raleigh NC area.

Thanks I really don't want to just buy a maf without knowing for sure that is it. Also the rover doesn't run bad at ask it is actually running the best it has ever run so I am at a slight loss for what is wrong.

Ok so it is time to get my 2002 dII inspected and i replaced the o2 sensor up stream now i am getting p1171 code. I have checked the MAF and it seems to be doing fine but my expertise in limited on it so maybe that is it but i dont want to just replace it so help diagnosing it will be grateful...

I am not stuck on 18" rims but thats what i have and dont want to get into a costly set of rims i would like to find a cheap set of smaller rims but seems like everytime i do they get sold to quickly or i dont have the cash at hand

Well unfortunately someone scooped them out from underneath me the had a set of 305/65/r18 bfg mud terrains on them and they offered 800 so they got them. I am having a horrible time finding a good price on tires for an 18" rim. Anyone have any good leads on either an aggressive all terrain or...

So I should take out that K&N and replace it with a stock filter reset the codes and see if it comes back? And if it does should I then try to clean the MAF as I understand this is a touchy job that could ruin the MAF. By the way my intake is a snorkel I do not know if this makes any difference.
