    All Purpose YJ Build...

Ruff Stuff perches that still need to be welded in... Dropped the frame and springs on the axles... You can see the extra plates added to the side. The shackles have been replaced with boomerangs and the springs were moved further back.

    All Purpose YJ Build...

Now enough with the past headache. Here is the YJ build... Found a sandblasted and painted frame with zero rust. Yippee! Just about every part used for the frame buildup was from Ruff Stuff... I highly recomend them for anyone planning a build. Test fitting to get the right angles...

    All Purpose YJ Build...

There are two metal ribs that run down the width of the topper. I just made sure to run the front mounts over those strips. The back ones just go right through the fiberglass. It's much stronger than you might think. During one trip i had it loaded with a few large tents, several camping...

    Snorkel Wars

As a fellow Southern Floridian i have to agree. Deep water, especially during the rainy season, really limits your options if you don't run a snorkel. I'm getting ready to install and aluminum River Raider snorkel on my YJ which i bought for $75 used. I plan to use their universal airbox, but...

Too bad you're so far. A friend is selling the Surco rack off his XJ with 4 Hellas and 2 backups for $280.

    Project Overlander-Build Thread

You're gonna rip that light right off the rear bumper the first time out. You don't have to worry about a rock bouncing off it but any time you go down or up a sharp ledge, you run the risk of scraping the rear (and ripping the light off). You should get a pair of the cheap small rectangular...

Here's my '92 YJ build. Trying to build an all-purpose rig but keeping in mind that (unfortunatly) we mostly have mud down here. Here are the specs... Chevy 350 (RV Cam, Roller Rockers, block huggers, intake and adding a Truck Avenger carb soon), Built TH350, np208, Chevy d44 & 12bolt...
