Lets see some full size pictures...

Where is it, I've done a couple of spots near the east end, but planning to do the whole thing next year :)

F350 Suspension with Flatbed and Fulltime Camper

When I added the Carli 2.5" kit and the Deaver 2k lb spring set the rear sway bar hung so low it had to be removed, it only had something like 6" clearance from the road!

Rear Seat Delete seatbelt warning system defeat....

Ohhh, ForScan sounds cool, can it alter shift points and help embrace 37's and the extra 2k of the camper?

Rear Seat Delete seatbelt warning system defeat....

Did that - it assumes you're keeping the belt receiver clips, my rear is completely empty, I just have the wires left.

    2019 F350 6.2L 4WD build thread; HPI flatbed, ATO AterraXL composite camper, Carli/King, 37s, 4.88s, etc

Your rig looks great, bravo and congratulations! I was super close to getting an Aterra too, but honestly, the grey fabric interior and their total inflexibility were deal killers for me, so now I'm heading down the Hallmark/Bowens route.

Rear Seat Delete seatbelt warning system defeat....

Do you guys know if there's any kind of easy to install plug that clips into the jack sockets to override or defeat the rear seat belt warning? Got mine out and ready for my custom Fahart Systems storage system to go in, but want to get rid of the annoying warning before it gets buried.

The bigger the truck, the greater the (misplaced?) concern about payload?

While I was having my suspension upgraded at CJC they told me that the biggest difference between the 250 & 350 is the air pressure in the tires (80psi in my stockers!) and the sticker saying the GVR numbers! I kind of feel like I could have just bought a 250 and saved on the taxes etc.

Thoughts on 2023 Ford Super Duty for Family Travel?

I came from an FJ80, which I loved to drive, but the packing & unpacking just became too much too, hence my move up to an F350 SuperCab with a 6’6” bed to build a long term liveaboard. I looked at a lot of units before taking the plunge, and more than anything I’d recommend visiting one of the...

2020 Ford F250 on 37s - Expedition Truck Camper Build!

What a great vid, thanks for sharing! As a train lover since childhood, this is absolutely on my 'to do' list once my build is done!

    Kill switches

I have seen some electronic ones that use a second electrical fob, which seem like they could be a good idea, but a simple switch could be good too. Since I've never had such a valuable vehicle I'm very keen to make sure it remains all mine! Do any of you guys use any extra security devices like...

    F350 SuperCab 4x4 Lariat 6.2 V8 Build Story - Completed

Happy to hear it's getting sorted out now, but back when I was ordering there were just too many horror stories out there.

    F350 SuperCab 4x4 Lariat 6.2 V8 Build Story - Completed

How hard/expensive is it to change the FDR now, and do you think the cost is worth the doing?

    Kill switches

I did a quick search but nothing great came up, have any of you fitted a kill switch to your rigs? It seems a good idea to both prevent accidental battery draining and also as a good anti theft addition.

    F350 SuperCab 4x4 Lariat 6.2 V8 Build Story - Completed

I initially ordered the bigger motor, but then I started reading all the problems folks were having with it in mobile homes & bigger buses, and based on the issues they were having not being able to get parts or service I decided to change my order to a more tried and tested unit that should be...

    F350 SuperCab 4x4 Lariat 6.2 V8 Build Story - Completed

To be honest I went with what those who know more than I recommended, what would be the plus or minus of that & my ratio?

    F350 SuperCab 4x4 Lariat 6.2 V8 Build Story - Completed

My first planned upgrade was the suspension package, which I had done by the now legendary CJC Off Road. The truck drives very differently with these new parts, and that's just on the road - can't wait to get off road soon! The full order is below so you can see what's been done so far and also...

    F350 SuperCab 4x4 Lariat 6.2 V8 Build Story - Completed

This is my first build, so have leant heavily on the experience and advice of many other kind, patient and helpful folks for all the choices that you'll see here. My goal was to maintain as much of the off-road ability of my beloved old Toyota FJ80 but add full off-grid livability with the...

2021 Ford F250 Tremor Adventure Rig

I ordered the Carli unit as it looks so well thought out, and I guess I can live without a rear bumper as it'd add a bunch of weight and move the CoG faster back, which can't be good.

2021 Ford F250 Tremor Adventure Rig

I really hadn't considered the need for a bumper, but now you mention it, it does seem like it would be a smart idea. On the subject of lights for our SuperDuty trucks, I keep seeing ads on Instagram for plug-in LED's, are they worthwhile, or is the Morimoto set up really that much better?
