Just to update this. Order the 6 person when Costco had the sale for $100. Much roomier for the 4 of us without going double size with the 8 person tent. Although the bag itself is significantly larger, it packs on the roof.

@stioc, does that 100 with ARB Bumper/Snorkel have just the grill bar only and a rear tire carrier bumper and ARB Roof Rack. I've seen that a few times as well.

I just bought 4 of these. So far testing it at home it's just what we need, self inflating and with a final blow/pump for firmness. Easy to package, comes with it's own bag and velcro straps. FYI: Needs a full day out of the bag to achieve its full firmness as it's slow to self-inflate...

Did you pay new for it? That's a great price. I bought the Instant 4 Person + Rainfly. Properly staked, it's a great tent, but tight for 4 even though the kids are 5 and 3. I could imagine wanting to go 8 person within a couple years.

Honestly, I don't see any negatives in that height. Just add a fairing in front of it so it sort of has that Xterra rear hump. Awesome everything btw!
