If it has to be a soft topper, there are tubular contractor grade racks with flat feet set at 90 degrees. Put that onto your empty truck bed, then the soft top sits on top of those flat feet. You could do the same with a hard top. These tubular frames bow out enough to fit around the outside...

I have a GMC Sierra. Leer 180 hard topper, rises 4 inches from cab height. On top of that, Cap Rac by Trac Rac (now owned by Thule) bolted through with marine grade sealant. Works like a charm and holds TWO kayaks and everything you can fit in the bed of a full size truck.

Some fine solutions here. I admit I just use a Ryobi P-747 dual function inflator and a manual tire gauge that I keep "on board" my truck

I added a Trac Rac Cap Rac on mine but I have to say this one is a much nicer platform to start from. Someone should snag it

I've got one that's slightly higher than cab height. Made for the GMT900 series (07 to 13) but fits my K2 version 2014. Love to be able to keep things or people covered, dry and under lock and key.

I dont know about that. The current mid-size dimensions and capacities are rivaling older GMT 400 era full size trucks. How much bigger before it is not what it is meant to be? Just one man's opinion. It's still nice
