    StoryTeller Overland GXV Hilt

Because yuppies and boomers wanna feel overlandy. Hence the reason you see folks buy the $500k rig, travel around to a few parks, then reality hits and they sell it soon after. These big dollar rigs are more about fulfillment of an Instagram fantasy than anything else.

Importing a hardside pop-up truck camper from Europe?

Looks like you could just import the camper portion(just pay the import duty on cargo) then have it attached to your truck here in Canada. That way you just go get it inspected and registered as an RV locally. I'd be worried about shipping the truck over and having the modifications made in...

    Armorlite EXP-1

They've made multiple exp1 and exp2. I've seen both at BC Overland rally in 2022 and again this year in 2023. Exp2 is the bare bones mid size truck back country rig designed for modularity. It's simple and hose out cleanable. VERY light weight. The units are built better than anything I've...

Megatron - New turnkey expedition vehicle from Supertramp, Elevation Off Grid (EOG) and Liquid Spring

Another option! Great news. Earthroamer, Adventure truck, Truckhouse, Superstramp, Loki,Rogue, 27north, and Overland Explorer. I'm sure there's others I'm forgetting. I still have trouble comprehending how people are affording these campers, but I guess America does have 22 million...

    EOG 550 Loki v Earthroamer

grid truck body/subframe is built by ITB, the rest by a van company. ITB's subframe work is subpar. Also for such a large truck, the water capacity is tiny.

Risks of buying a new Grenadier

Without the first gen buyers taking the risk this vehicle will never survive. So we can poo poo all we want about parts availabilities. This vehicle is in the price range of people who can afford a third vehicle in the driveway and if they have to wait a week for a sensor to arrive it's not a...
