Very nice gear you chose and will last you a while. I have a friend who usually needs to buy pants on a yearly basis. He bought some Klim pants and he is on his third year with the same pants. Sometimes it's actually ends up cheaper to buy quality stuff. The Klim stuff is worth it.
The way the original ladder attaches to the tent on the Blade is different than other designs. They basically have flat stock bolted to the top of the ladder that slips into a slit on the tent. I really couldn't take the flat stock off the original ladder and adapt it to the new collapsible...
I didn't like the ladder on my Eezi-Awn Blade either. I bought the ladder in the link below and it has been great. Not sure how the Alu-cab ladder attaches to your tent but I just use a velcro strap to attach the new ladder to my tent when I'm in it. Quick and easy...
I'm sure other states have a law that states something similar but feel in California this law would be enforced. Just saying. An again, if you are towing something that blocks the license plate do you relocate your vehicle license plate so it is visible? If you are carrying your bicycles...
Eezi-Awn makes some high quality products that will last a long time. An the rear awning is why I stopped looking at tents that didn't have it. It's an advantage to have one.
My Eezi-Awn Blade has the awning feature on the back window and I like it. Can have the back window completely open without the fear of rain coming in while sleeping. Can also pull out the poles and can zip the awning down if in extremely windy or cold conditions. I use the sides for entry/exit.
There are two types, HD and regular. I have never used the regular but it would probably have to be used more often than the HD does. Really the only "downfall" of using it is that it has to dry before you can ride. Well I guess it doesn't have to but that would defeat the purpose. So lube...
It doesn't build up at all. I use it about every 150 to 200 miles. The best part is that it doesn't collect dirt so I rarely have to clean the chain unless it was a muddy day. Mud gets into everything.
Did everyone watch the video? A lot of these complaints seem to be nitpicking. Saying that cuz there is no such thing as a perfect setup.
Setup doesn't look to be any longer than any normal RTT and may even be quicker since you are not having to deal with a tent on your high roof. The...
I use Amsoil Heavy Duty metal protector for chain lube. It dries so it doesn't attract dirt. Been using it for years and it does a great job.

Dang I need to ride. It's been weeks. The forests open back up here this Friday, can't wait. I still have less than 600 miles on this thing, that's ridiculous. Between getting hurt and the China virus forest shutdown, I have not been riding. That is gonna change this weekend!
Well that's what I have, the stock exhaust. Again, it fixes 98% of the issue and maintains the stock exhaust. When I want more power I will goto the Vortex and a pipe, but having it run good and quiet has been fine for me so far.
I like Rok straps.
