    R Pod

Good thing I'm a Mr. fixit type, hahaha. I'd honestly prefer to build it myself, but my wife wants something complete, rather than waiting forever for me to complete a project.

    R Pod

my wife and I will more than likely be getting an rpod next year. I really want a truck camper (Alaskan camper preferably) but she was pretty adamant against it. Truck campers are "ugly" in her opinion. The rpod, however, is cute. Compromise is everything in a relationship, they say. I'm...

    97 F-350 CCLB build:

I agree with the posts above. I bet you could get new CAR prices for that truck, and even though it's an awesome truck, the newer trucks are nicer in every way except the nostalgia.

    F150 - 5.5' vs. 6.5' bed?

I'm interested to hear what others have to say about this as well....subscribed. I will say that I've had an f150 with the 5.5ft bed, and an f250 with the 6ft8" bed. I didnt really notice much of a difference in hauling "stuff", although I liked being able to fit 8ft boards diagonally with the...

Ford Superduty Tremor "off road" 2020 F250/F350.

Neither the tremor or the powerwagon will fit well on the trails around here, but they'll still sell like hotcakes. Competition is good, so I'm glad Ford is making this truck!

Ford Superduty Tremor "off road" 2020 F250/F350.

I really like it, and my next truck might just be a tremor. I like the powerwagon, but I've just never been a fan of dodges reliability, and I still dont trust it even after they broke the ram name off on own. Also, and this is just a personal observation, it seems that every time I see some...

Diesel for overlanding- are you happy with the choice?

This has nothing to do with why the DoD uses all diesel vehicles in their fleets. It's about logistics. It's much easier to have a universal fuel than having to source different fuels for different vehicles. They used to have plenty of gasoline vehicles (Jeep anyone?)

    WWII spen trailer

If I remember correctly, I googled it and went with one that had reasonable prices. I want to say metal depot or something....it was shipped to my door. I can't remember the price but it was fairly expensive. If I had to do it again, I'd just go down to the local metal yard and get them to cut...

    Build: Flatbed for slide-in camper

Wow, that flatbed looks fantastic! I am, however, a bit concerned for your brake lights. While they meet the letter of the law, I dont think I'd want to be the guy behind you when you brake hard. There just isnt enough surface area to be very noticeable. Great truck and flatbed though, I look...

Henry Spen Restomod adventure trailer build

Nothing really, the recent thread that sgthawk started has me thinking about it lately. I replaced the axle with a custom length 3500lb axle, and I added wooden sideboards and a plywood floor to make it useable. And then I parked it for a few years, basically. The whole project kind of stalled...

    WWII spen trailer

Hahaha, copy away, I'm honored by the compliment about my welding. Honestly it was my first big project so I was learning to weld as I went! I'm looking forward to following along with this, you'll have to keep posting about your adventures using the trailer.
