    I'm BACK!!! 2023 F-250 Tremor build

I took the Casita and the bikes to Arkansas and the Texas Hill Country this week, we had a great campsite on the Llano river outside of Mason, TX. The trailer towed like a dream back there, easy work with this truck. The Gate King tail gate adjusters worked well and held the tail gate securely...

    KTM's....

Vanasche makes great stuff. I ordered MM BC 35/35 panniers.

    KTM's....

Typical protective gear, skid plate, crash bar reinforcement, wider pegs, soft panniers, etc. It won’t match my 890 Offroad but it’ll hold its own and it’ll be far superior on the long haul road sections when touring. Mild BDR’s, cross country pulls, hill country runs, weekend rides, etc. is...

    KTM's....

I snagged this hefty gal recently. R1250 GSA, loving it so far as a tourer, very little dirt on her just yet.

    I'm BACK!!! 2023 F-250 Tremor build

I installed the Platinum trim side console leather trim pieces. The bronze thread when dyed with the Graphite Rit Dye turned out a little darker than the grey stitching of the Lariat trim but it works because it's damn near the same color as the leather itself. No more squeaking when my knee...

    I'm BACK!!! 2023 F-250 Tremor build

Yes, that kind of weight that far back could easily induce trailer sway. You might want to consider a front hitch as well, it's not my favorite option but many do it.

    I'm BACK!!! 2023 F-250 Tremor build

This is what you seek should you go for the hitch mounted option. I had their MX carrier for a few years, there's simply nothing better on the market. It still doesn't change the fact that you'll have a crap ton of weight hanging off the back and the hitch on your camper must be able to handle...

    I'm BACK!!! 2023 F-250 Tremor build

I installed the Gate King tailgate adjusters today. I hope they allow me to have two dirt bikes in the bed with the tailgate locked out most of the way up and still clear the electric tongue jack on my camper, I'll find out Tuesday lol. You do have to remove the bottle opener brackets on the...

    KTM's....

Congrats on the 901, you'll love it. I've had six or seven KTM's over the years and they've all been great bikes. The only thing I've consistently heard of on the late model bikes are the cam issues and they seem to be centered around the 790 and early 890's.

2021 Ford F250 Tremor Adventure Rig

You pay a pretty penny but they are worth it. I have a few, wouldn't trade them for anything.

    Beater Wagon

You'll love the Thuren coils, I ran the same ones on my PW. The free 1.5" level they provide is an added bonus.

2020 Ford F250 on 37s - Expedition Truck Camper Build!

Agreed, no sway bar on these late model SD's is a better option than the over priced torsion sway.

I have a feeling you're referencing this little fella right here, the tripod, not the little Swiss PDW.

    2020 F250 6.7L Tremor w/ Carli & 37’s Build Thread

Nice! 10K+ miles on mine and hardly any wear, I love these tires.

Yea that's pretty bad. I can attest to the RT Trails being phenomenal tires.

    I'm BACK!!! 2023 F-250 Tremor build

I've been waiting on this guy since last fall, happy to finally have it installed. Now to figure out which info, gauge layout and color palette I prefer.

    2024 Casita 17' Spirit Deluxe

Yea, slide outs are great if you need the space but I don't nor do I want the added complexity of the seals and the motors. We are pretty much set on FGRV's from here forward for our needs/lifestyle.

    2024 Casita 17' Spirit Deluxe

Head room in the bathroom is tight, but we knew that going in. Due to the lack of slide outs you must learn to work around one another if standing at the same time as space is limited in the narrow walkway. I am not the biggest fan of the hardware and material they chose to use for the cabinets...

    2024 Casita 17' Spirit Deluxe

Nothing new to add in terms of upgrades or recent pics but we will be racking up another six or more nights in the trailer this month as I plan to take it to Arkansas here in a few weeks and a local state park with the misses next weekend. So far we absolutely love the thing with only a few caveats.

    Mid-size vs Full-size truck setup

Definitely go full-size, definitely consider a trailer in addition to. IMHO, the new Tundra is not the same Tundra we all know, it wouldn't even make it in my top three of full-size trucks if I were shopping at the moment. I'd also consider adding a trailer to your current 4-door Bronco setup...
