    Post Pic's of your Jeep

I would love to know a bit more about the molle panel you mounted at the rear window of the cab. Was there a product designed for that spot or did you modify something else? How is it attached? Thanks in advance!

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

Modified/installed an Alucab canopy table bracket so that I can store an Alucab table under the sleeping platform of my ALCC. Table can be stowed/removed when sleeping platform is raised or lowered. I talked to the nice folks at AVO who had teased this mod on their instagram feed late last...

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

That would be great. I really don’t want to buy and cut down an existing rack. I hope whatever they come up with, it isn’t a hassle to remove and re-install. I value being able to remove freedom panels when not on a trip.

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

I just purchased one myself, so can't provide any long term feedback. I did confirm with Hest that the dually long was the correct size for an ALCC. It is approx 4" shorter than the forward sleeping platform, but that just provides a place to put a couple rolled up blankets before closing. My...

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

A How do you like the mattress? I’m wary of memory foam because traditionally they sleep really warm and firmness changes with temp.

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

No spare going on the door. I do plan to mount a stack of 4 maxtrax (GP factor mount) probably towards the middle of the door… adjusted to maintain some clearance on the pass. side molle panel. Measurement would still be great if it’s not too much trouble! Thanks in advance.

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

Waiting for my ALCC to arrive and am engaged in obsessive planning for the build... ? Does anyone have dimensions of the ALCC rear molle plates, specifically width? I'm considering options for carrying emergency fuel and would love to be able to mount two 20L scepter cans (diesel) to one...

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

Very interesting. So is this a modified version on one of their existing racks? Can you speak more specifically about what it takes to install/remove? It looks like a great option for carrying cases.

Onboard, programmable shore charger and voltage drop

Thank you for explaining. What I'm seeing in the programming parameters are a default setting of adaptive absorb time, with a corresponding maximum time. The alternative is to turn adaptive off and have a fixed absorb time. Not sure what formula or metric Victron uses for the adaptive...

Onboard, programmable shore charger and voltage drop

Yeah, I guess I could have saved $50 or so and some mounting space with a smaller charger. I am pretty deep into the Victron ecosystem and wanted the programmability and the feedback statistics in the Victron Connect app. There is a 50A blue sea circuit breaker at the battery end of the wire run.

Onboard, programmable shore charger and voltage drop

Currently have 2 parallel runs of 10AWG yielding 7AWG equivalent. I did this because 1 of the runs was already installed and I'm pretty limited at the location where it's going through the firewall. I've heard of people getting 6AWG through that location with enough persistence, but as you...

Onboard, programmable shore charger and voltage drop

Hi, Please consider the following scenario: I'm thinking about hard mounting a programmable shore charger (Victron Blue Smart IP76 12/25A) in my vehicle to charge/maintain the batteries in the engine bay. My vehicle isn't a daily driver and I would like to protect my investment in dual...

Victron Blue Smart Charger (Not solar)

I've just received a Blue Smart IP67 (12/25A) charger and after updating firmware, I can confirm the charging parameters are fully customizable from within VictronConnect. You have to dig for them a bit in the device settings by turning on advanced, going into advanced settings, then turning...
