    Full length rack noise

People that have the FR fairing have you noticed any change if fuel economy? Putting the FR rack of made a bigger economy difference than going to 275/65 K02's which surprised me a little.

    2020 Defender Spy Shots....

I'm not hopeful, especially with the 20" rims but at least the tyres are 32" so you might be able to squeeze 33" or bigger under. Will have to wait to we see the final body work, as I say what is on there is very not final. Those pumped rear arches are just stupid.

    Rtt on rainy trips

Mine was the opposite originally. Fly leaked quite badly so water pooled on the canvas roof then that dripped inside. Canvas soaked through so when closed wet it soaked the mattress. I have re seamsealed it and used Nikwax tent waterproof on the canvas and it’s better now.

Lr3: snow chains or cables. Anyone have preferences?

I have 275/65R18 BFG Ko2 on my LR3 and I have the RUD/Grip 4x4 thinnest chains and they rub the upper control arm. I pretty much only carry them for all the places that say "Must Carry Chains" even thought he Ko2 are blizzard rated. I live in Socal so the only snow I have seen was in Sequoia NP...

    Tepui Low Pro 7"

Sorry, pick up my tent and been traveling the whole time with minimal phone coverage(T-mobile is the worst) and just got home. They wouldn't give me much info. The delay is ladder, the design, where it is stored and what it will eventually be. Saw one in cover sitting inside the warehouse, It...

New LR3/4 18" Wheels on AULRO

In Australia everything is listed with sales tax so take 10% off if buying outside of Aus and right now the Aus dollar is doing pretty badly. So with tax taken off and before shipping it comes to around $US356 a rim. Around the same price as Compomotive but you will save a ton not having to ship...

LR3/LR4 owners: What height do you set your suspension?

Using the GAP tool to adjust hight changes every pre-programmed hight including access hight. Your access hight is now 1/2 inch taller, so is offroad mode. Changing the hight using a GAP tool is just the software way of using lift rods, all you are doing is tricking the suspension computer to...

    Random Scenic Shots

Death Valley is very safe in every way other than heat exhaustion/dehydration. I did 6 nights there earlier this year doing most the 4x4 trails, back country camping and hiking 100% alone. Not once at all did I ever feel unsafe. The biggest knife I had on me too was a kitchen paring knife to...

The next day was an early rise as we were to head north to Fredonia, Az and then back down to Tuweep for the that nights camp. The view leaving camp. The drive north through Kaibab NF was super easy as those dirt roads are in very good condition even after all that rain Filled up with fuel...

    Grand Canyon, South to North

After saying goodby to our new friends we headed north. The drive the next morning was quick and easy up the north rim visitors centre. The storms hadn't cleared all night and rained most the way making the scenery amazing to look at. I was surprised how different the north rim was to the south...

    Grand Canyon, South to North

This is my first ever trip report. I have done many, many trips over the years and taken 10,000s of photos but never actually written a report, so here goes! This was quite a last minute trip as some work fell though so I packed the car and headed north east to the Grand Canyon for 7 nights. A...
