    2024 Casita 17' Spirit Deluxe

I'm sure olivers are good but they're not worth three times the price of a Casita.

    I'm BACK!!! 2023 F-250 Tremor build

I wish I could find a Casita listed for sale around here in MN. Maybe one with the twin beds. Until then our Scamp will do. We’ve got the deluxe with the solid wood cabinets. It’s way better than the Forest River crap I work on every day. The scamp came with tiny tires. Even going to the 205/75...

    Heating a small trailer

Do you have the optional propane furnace? If so keep your battery charged from your tow vehicle, maybe add a second battery and you might be fine.

Lipo charging setup for the bed of my truck

If you’ve got a factory seven way trailer plug you should have a power wire in there that is separate from lights and brakes. It’s usually ten gauge and fused at 20 or 30 amps.

    2023 Ford Raptor- Continuation

I stuck some 100w knock off KC daylighter halogens on my truck until I find something I'm excited about. They're not any brighter than the LED's bulbs I've put in the stock highbeams. They're $12 a piece though. Hopefully they'll burn off the sticky snow that blocks off the led's.

BIG, Cheap and Looks to be a 4WD Van for $1500!

I believe these ELF busses are FRONT WHEEL DRIVE. They use some kind of independent suspension in the rear to get a low floor.

    72 IH + ‘85 Alaskan = Questionable Judgment...

I bought a ‘17 forester new and it burned oil from day one despite proper break in procedure. Had blizzacks and a six speed. I’d still have it but the wife decided I needed a truck instead.

    Older Chevrolet S-10 feedback

I had a 94 zr2 4.3 auto, a 99 2wd 2.2 manual, and a 01 4.3 4x4 4dr blazer. The 4wd is only available with the 4.3. The 4.3 trucks get about 14mpg in my experience. Good drivetrain but the same mpg as a full size. The cheap purchase price of these trucks makes the mpg bearable imo. Expect to...

Thoughts for an Overlander in today's market? Suggestions?

Wow, even my 2500 gasser on 35's will get 12 on the highway.

I think the lags are where the water is getting in?

    Camper jack attachment durability

I’ve seen a couple on used trailers where the wood the lags are in has gone soft. It’s scary that that’s what’s holding them up in the air.

    Kimberley Kampers USA

Not Airstream, but I had an older guy at work(RV tech) tell me of a time they switched trailer axles from Neverlube to conventional because of overheating and blowing tires. I've only seen 1 trailer with the never lube axles in my 3 years as a tech, nobody in the shop new what to do with them. I...

    Kimberley Kampers USA

There’s a reason nobody uses never lube. I’ve heard of those things getting so hot tires were blowing out. I don’t what insurance rates are on airstream but a hail storm can really mess them up.
