It’s the way they’d force me from from a 6.5’ box scab to a screw (+5000) that adds most of the cost. I didn’t price the 8’box scab.

Thats decent payload for a 1/2 ton. My father in laws new 2500 cummins is 2200lbs, and my gasser chevy 2500 is 2800.

I hate the way Ford packages options. I’d want the hdpp which requires the hd tow package also but that would force me from a scab to a screw and all of a sudden it’s a $8,000+ package, and I don’t need a crew cab. It doesn’t stop there though because all of that doesn’t include tow mirrors...

I have sumo springs on the Chevy 2500. They reduce sag a little and did not affect ride/handling.

I once tried to do an alignment on a late 90’s f150. I tried to put the sensor thing on the drivers side tire and the thing was flopping around like crazy bad. 3-4” back and forth, it was insane. It had wide offset wheels, those seem to kill the unit bearings.

I’ve watched a few of his videos. There’s an older one where he installs part of a Tesla battery pack in his fifth wheel camper. Seems like an interesting option, don’t know how practical it is to the average individual.

I would go with the connection that’s hot only with engine running.
