    2000 Ford 7.3L Motovan build (225's build cont'd)

Did a little shakedown run. Wife has been yelling at me about going camping, so we went. We went camping at the base of the "Fugitive" dam on US129. Basically the base of Tail of the Dragon. When you cross the bridge coming from Robbinsvills, NC., take a left and that's free camping on the...

    2000 Ford 7.3L Motovan build (225's build cont'd)

The tire place cracks me up the way they change tires. But they are by far the busiest tire place in town. And they don't mess around. I got jacked! lol New wheels on: I need new lugnuts:

    2000 Ford 7.3L Motovan build (225's build cont'd)

Finished the lift. Made a run to the dump lol... I always had shaking like the wheels were out of balance. I've tried regular balancing, balance beads, etc.. Nothing worked. The more I took my wheels off I realized that it had to be the wheels. Upon further inspection, I saw that only...

Anyone here ever done business with Weldtec?

My buddy has a Chevy Express and did a Weldtec kit, and he loves it. These are horrible pics, but was taken early in the morning. We work together.

How often do folks get flat tires (or need to use a winch)?

I got stuck in the mud once. Lost a tire and broke my winch. Since then, I've been more careful. But, I have used my winch a lot. Mostly for pulling people out of ditches.

A few ?'s for Those that have done the diy Ujoint kit

I originally did a 4" kit, now I'm currently doing the 6" kit. The only difference between the 4" and 6" is the springs and adding the track bar. I'm doing mine on jack stands, on a very slanted driveway. Not fun to say the least. For me, the swap is very straightforward, but heavy lifting...

    2000 Ford 7.3L Motovan build (225's build cont'd)

Pulled the old 4" spring off: The new spring in with the 35" tire on. I mounted the tires myself. I'll bring them to the shop to get them balanced once I'm done.

Auxillary rear fuel tank for E350

Not sure about a filler neck, but a fuel pump, relay and a switch is all you need to fill up the primary tank from that one.

What's your exterior skin thickness? I'm curious what ambo's use for that.

    2021 Ford E-Series Cab/Chassis Camper Attachment?

There's that, and do I really feel like doing all that too. Not really. It's just an option that's on the table. There's no way I'm paying $150k for a camper, or even $100k for a class c. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of having a van note at all. But I do like the new 7.3 gas option. I haven't...
