I have an 06 sport with the v8, so it's full time in 4Hi. I hit the center diff lock the other day and it wouldn't engage. My shop is telling me it's the encoder motor and the part alone is $1700!! Anyone have experience and/or a part number? It seems crazy to me that a small motor costs that...

One of my first vehicles was a B2200 2wd and then I had a B2600 4wd. Both were great trucks, ran well and went everywhere I tried to go. The gas mileage was horrible but the trucks were fun and easy to work on.
