    Pajero Mk2 SWB MIVEC Build

These are a few of the AC and Alternator hung in place. There will be an idler pulley between the two units allowing for a full wrap of the belt.

    Pajero Mk2 SWB MIVEC Build

I am back working on engine accessories. Making good progress mounting the PS pump, alternator and AC compressor. My goal is to keep these part tucked in tight. I am utilizing the much more compact car engine pulleys rather than the truck pulley that sticks way out front and is well known to...

    Transmission Drain Plug

Probably an M16X1.5, I have not paid much attention to them. They will be a 14, 16 or 18 mm with a 1.5 pitch, pretty standard size.

2004 Mitsubishi Pajero 3.2 DiD ground strap location

Clean the battery terminals and go from there. If the starter works with a jump pack, don't fix the starter. Use a volt meter and check each terminal when used load to find which one has the resistance in it.

That is not a spit in the bearing, they are produced with a seam. That bearing is worn out, how did it get through a machine shops hands and not get replaced? If that engine truly has 170K miles it should have been in a condition to just install as is and drive for many years. That thing had to...

    CAD delete, My way.

CAD delete, my way. This is a little bit less work than what other guys do. The task is to simply hold the shaft out to keep the clutch engaged. Nothing more. In this image the spring needs to settle in, it gets greased up for corrosion protection then a rubber boot goes over it. This can be...

Cool, Osh is big time now, been active there for decades. Started my addiction 40 years ago at Sun &Fun when I was at Embry Riddle. Followed with my first time to OSH 38 years ago, missed a few years in the '90s while starting a business. It was Hot this year and I have a bad leg that got...

    Pajero Mk2 SWB MIVEC Build

The factory claims 265ish HP. The tuners claim an easy stock output of 280-290 and well into the 300s with good headers which I will have. I just got back from 9 days out at the Oshkosh Airventure and trying to got my head back into the work mode. We flew a 48 plane formation flight into the...

    Lower intake plenum ‘95 SR

I also would suggest you remove the lower intake and using a flashlight get a very good look at the intake valves. I disconnected the vacuum hose from the butterfly actuator to make sure they never closed and therefore little chance they could fail.

    Pajero Mk2 SWB MIVEC Build

These pics kind of look the same as previous, I have wrapped the wire harness on top of the engine. I can not say I care for tape wrapping harnesses especially forward of the firewall. Maybe some months from now I can properly heat shrink everything, time will tell. I then made studs for...

Yeah, so this is happening...2.6 to '97 MS 2.4

I hate to be harsh here, This project looks to be one that will never be completed. If you can not simply connect a power steering pump up there is little chance you will achieve the far more complex tasks. The raider is a simple vehicle and trying to create something special when you have no...
